Before a standing room only crowd in Hoboken, New Jersey, HOPE Number Six officially came to an end Thursday night with the presentation of Steve Rambam's talk "Privacy Is Dead - Get Over It." The original talk was scheduled for our conference in July but was postponed when Steve was arrested by the FBI mere moments before the talk was to begin. (All charges have since been dropped and a lawsuit is now being pursued against the FBI.)

Tonight's session lasted three hours without a break and could have gone on for even longer had we been able to keep the room. We'll have audio available on our website in a few days and DVDs will follow soon after. We want to thank everyone who attended despite the horrific weather, as well as the HOPE staff who made it all go smoothly, the Stevens Institute of Technology who graciously allowed us free use of their facilities, and, of course, Steve himself who kept the discussion riveting and answered a whole lot of questions.

This was the first HOPE event ever to take place outside the confines of the actual conference and outside of New York and the spirit that we've become used to at HOPE was felt here. All the more reason to look forward to 2008.
