The official Call For Speakers has been released for The Next HOPE, the eighth conference in the 16 year history of the Hackers On Planet Earth series. As usual, it will take place at the Hotel Pennsylvania in the middle of New York City from July 16-18, 2010.

The 2600 polo shirt is our first ever collared shirt and was requested by many of our readers in order to enable them to wear a 2600 shirt at work, where t-shirts might not be allowed. These shirts are a tribute to the ancient hacker tradition of "trashing," the art of diving through garbage dumpsters in search of interesting printouts and/or equipment. The "2600 Waste Management" logo (embroidered into the fabric) along with an old school trash can give off a real professional, yet subtly subversive air.
